With the cost of energy threatening small business food service establishments like never before, specific information that can help these firms make investments in more energy efficient food service equipment with assistance of significant rebates from California utilities is offered here.

While the large corporate food service businesses can rely on dedicated staff to sort out which specific model numbers receive which rebates from each utility, smaller independent food service operators and distributors are at a disadvantage because some of the specifications used as benchmarks for these incentives are not yet readily available in product literature.

In an effort to help provide a simple way for you to connect the equipment with the right rebate amount, we've used information from both Energy Star and PG&E's San Ramon based Food Service Technology Center (FSTC), to match the product model numbers with available rebates from California utilities.  Just click on the links to your left to find this information.

Is the savings potential significant enough to really matter?  How about one replacement efficient foodservice appliance effecting savings between $3-6,000.00 in costs per year !  For the facts, check out this FSTC Connectionless Steamer Study and see for yourself !

** Important Note:  We will be continuously updating this information and checking with both the CA utilities and foodservice product manufacturers to make sure the information provided is accurate and complete. We strongly suggest that you check with your utility before purchasing specific equipment to make sure rebates are available and that the rebate levels you see here are accurate.  Please, if you aware of any changes or errors in these lists, please email us at: hankryan2003@yahoo.com or call 510-459-9683 and we'll correct the information immediately.
